VRP® Enterprises, Inc. was established in 2002 expressly to develop and market an automotive aftermarket product that provides replacement vehicle protection to car owners. Vehicle Replacement Protection® was developed by VRP Enterprises, Inc. in conjunction with a national provider of towing and roadside assistance, a national administrator for these and other aftermarket products as well as a supplier of supplemental insurance and related products to the automotive industry. As a result of a lengthy and complicated development period dealing with the various state regulatory bodies, VRP® has been approved for sale in nearly every state in the US. VRP™ has now entered the retail auto finance arena with a customer focused “back-end” product, offering benefits to automobile owners heretofore found only in other industries, that is sold through lenders, dealers and other marketing organizations.
VRP® competes in the multi-billion dollar franchised automotive dealer “back-end” or after-market sales effort, which is an important profit center for dealers and lenders. This market consists of supplemental products and services sold in conjunction with financing and leasing programs. While VRP® has no direct competitors; it does vie with other “back-end” products for finance dollars such as service contracts, credit insurance and gap insurance. Other items that are in this group, but compete to a much lesser degree, include rust proofing, undercoating, paint sealant, fabric and vinyl protectants as well as ancillary items such as LOJACK, floor mats, and spoilers.
VRP Enterprises, Inc. is in various stages of development of other “first to market” finance products including involuntary unemployment protection, which is now available in over thirty states.
VRP® contracts are guaranteed by an "A" rated ( A.M. Best Co.) insurance company and are approved by the appropriate state regulatory agencies.
